📸 Most people come home from the best dive of their life with nothing to show for it. The turtle at twelve metres. The coral city. The moment your kid saw a clownfish for the first time. All of it happened, and all of it is gone, because your phone was sitting in a dry bag on the boat.

🌫️ Fogging ruins more underwater photos than flooding ever does. Warm air gets sealed inside the housing, you drop into cooler water, and condensation forms on the inside of the lens port within seconds. Every shot from that dive comes back soft and hazy. This one comes with a hand pump that draws the air out through a one-way valve before you get in, so the port stays clear from the first frame to the last.

🤿 A slippery pouch is not a camera. You end up two-handed, fumbling, watching the shot swim away. The moulded grip puts five buttons under your fingers: shutter, two zoom, two mode. One hand on the grip, one hand free for your regulator, your torch, or the line. Stable footage instead of shaky guesswork.

What happens if it leaks and wrecks my phone?
Fair question, and the honest answer is that no housing is risk-free. What separates a good dive from an expensive one is testing it before your phone ever goes in.
- Seal it empty and submerge it in a sink or pool for ten minutes
- Put a tissue inside so any trace of moisture shows up straight away
- Check the seal every single time, a hair or a grain of sand is all it takes
- Re-test after any drop or after it has been sitting unused for a while
Two minutes at the pool beats finding out at twelve metres.
How deep can I actually take it?
Rated IP68, waterproof to 20 metres (65 feet). That covers snorkelling, freediving and recreational scuba well within normal limits.
- Do not exceed 20 metres. Pressure climbs fast and the seal has a hard limit
- Rinse in fresh water after every saltwater session
- Dry the seal properly before storing, salt crystals are what kill housings on the second trip rather than the first
Will it fit my phone?
It takes flat-screen phones up to 7 inches, with a clamping range of 50 to 80mm wide. That covers everything from an iPhone Mini to a Pro Max or a Galaxy Ultra, including triple and quad camera arrays. Works with iOS and Android.
- Take your everyday case off first for the cleanest seal
- Flat screens only. Heavily curved-edge phones and folding phones are not suitable
- 4.4 inch optical glass port sits clear of standard rear camera layouts

How do I control the camera once I'm underwater?
Touchscreens do not work underwater. That is true of every housing, not just this one, because water contact confuses the capacitive screen. The five physical buttons exist to solve exactly that.
- Capture and pause on the main button under your index finger
- Zoom in and out on two dedicated keys
- Two mode buttons, hold either for two seconds to switch front and back camera or wake the grip from sleep
Pair it over Bluetooth and set your camera app how you want it before you seal the housing. After that the grip does everything.
Will the photos actually look good, or blue and murky?
Sharpness is not the problem. The port is 4.4 inch optical glass with 97% light transmission, and the vacuum pump keeps it fog-free, so what you get is clear. Colour is a different matter, and it is physics rather than the case.
- Water absorbs red light first, so everything drifts blue-green as you go deeper
- Above about five metres natural colour holds up well
- Below that a red filter or a dive torch brings the warmth back
Every underwater photographer deals with this. We would rather tell you now than have you blame the housing later.
What's in the box, and how long does the grip last?
- Diving handle with the housing
- Vacuum pump for purging the air
- USB charging cable, safety wrist rope, lens cloth and manual
The grip runs on an internal 80mAh battery that charges in about two hours via pogo pin. Two 1/4 inch threaded holes on the body take any standard tripod, selfie stick or dive light mount.
Body is ABS, polycarbonate and aluminium alloy. 20.4 x 10.9 x 5.2cm, 397 grams.
